On the Road

We left New York last week and drove 2,300 miles across 10 states to get to Utah. It was sad to leave (more on that another time...) but we had a great time as a family while we drove across our beautiful country. Sometimes when you live in the city you forget how much space there really is everywhere else. I loved being able to see for miles and feel like the sky went on forever.
We stopped in Nauvoo, Illinois and saw the temple and let the kids play around for a bit. Matthew & Anna handled the 4.5 day drive really well and we were all really excited to see family when we finally reached our destination. We'll be spending a few weeks in Utah before we head to Texas at the end of the summer.

We miss NYC already, but we are excited to move on to new things!

Fun adventures for you! Congrats on finishing school. Wish I had still been in Iowa and you could have stopped off for a break. :)
