Come and Gone

My parents came for a visit a couple of weeks ago! It had been way too long since we'd seen them, so we had lots of talking, cuddling, and playing to catch up on. No time was wasted.

We went to the Manhattan temple, my dad spent a day riding a bike around the five boroughs of NYC, and we took a day-trip to Philadelphia.

It was terrific to have them here for Matthew's birthday and for Mother's Day. Perfect timing.
We love to see how much they love our kids. I'm sure it is hard to have their only grandkids over 2,000 miles away, so they love every second they get to spend with them. We had such a great time with them here, and can't wait until the end of the summer when we'll be together again!

Those are some great pictures. Look like you showed your parents a great time. How fun to see them! Your kids are growing so much, and looking so much alike too. I love the picture of the two of them in the double stroller. Isn't it fun looking down and seeing two little heads instead of one?! :) Also, Your parents look as young as you and Joseph! Seriously, they are so youthful looking! Haha! Is that weird to say?;) Glad you guys are having fun!

Oh, Cat what fun! It makes me all teary to hear about your parents loving your babies. 2,000 miles is way too far to be apart! What a fun time with them. They are amazing. Just like you!

Ha! They do touch the floor... I think I was just holding my legs up or something. I'm not quite that short. :)
